Add the snow day calculator to your site

School, PTA, neighborhood and local news sites can show the calculator on their own pages. It is free, carries no ads and sets no cookies. Paste this where you want it to appear:

<iframe src="https://snowdayrisk.com/embed/" title="Snow day calculator" width="100%" height="1000" style="border:0;max-width:420px" loading="lazy"></iframe>

Open on your own town

Add a ZIP code or a town to the address and the sign shows that place as soon as the page loads.

What your visitors get

• The same sign as on this site: the chance of a closure and of a late start, and the snow hour by hour.
• A link back here for the reasons behind the number.
• The forecast is fetched by each visitor's own browser, so the widget adds no load to your server.

The widget is 420 pixels wide at most and 1,000 tall, which leaves room for the notes under the sign; it narrows to fit a phone. The result is an estimate, and the widget says so. Terms of use.
